Why pronoun pins?

A simple pin can take a whole lot of pressure off your LGBTQIA+ employees. 

Going to work as a trans, non-binary or gender non-confirming individual can be a daunting task. Folks under the trans umbrella face situations that are unfortunately all too common, such as having to repeatedly come out, persistent misgendering and using up their emotional labour to explain to colleagues why it's important. 

Providing pronoun pins for your staff is a quick way to ensure that your employees feel an added sense of comfort, safety, and respect at work. Pronoun pins are for everyone, even if you're cisgender.

Rising Violet Press is a small, queer owned business based in Victoria. All of our products are designed by our owner, Bon, who has first hand experience with the difficulties of navigating a workplace as a non-binary person.
